The Buss Orange Blue Terminal and the international wind turbine manufacturer Senvion have signed an agreement for the Nordsee One offshore wind farm. As part of this major project, Buss will take care of all services upstream of and at the Dutch terminal: from planning, transport and interim storage on the terminal premises to pre-assembly and subsequent delivery of the components to the quayside.
TenneT and its Danish counterpart Energinet.dk will start constructing the so-called COBRAcable towards the end of this year. The COBRAcable is a new 325-km-long subsea DC connection (interconnector) that will create a direct link between the Dutch and Danish power grids in 2019.
Important milestone reached in the construction of one of the world’s largest wind parks. The first monopile at the Gemini wind park has been successfully installed. The wind park will consist of 150 Siemens wind turbines in total, and is owned by Northland Power (60%), Siemens (20%), Van Oord (10%) and HVC (10%).
